A Quick Break, But AI Filmmaking is Just Getting Started!

PLUS: “ECHOES of the ABYSS” by The Butcher’s Brain amazing AI creation

Good Thursday, my fellow soloists!

For the next few weeks, The AI Film Soloist will be taking a short break. There are some things that need my attention, and since we’re not quite at the point where robots can completely run the show for us (and I wouldn’t want them to anyway), I’ll be hitting pause for a bit.

That said, if something truly exciting catches my eye (like this crazy creation below 👇), I might still drop a note here and there - so stay tuned.

Coolest AI Film Soloist of the week!

“ECHOES of the ABYSS” by The Butcher’s Brain is an amazing short episode “recap” of a series made with Google’s Veo2.

Look at this and tell me we are not getting closer to mainstream content.

Check out this 100% AI-generated short film. It’s pretty mind-blowing how realistic it is, and I think it’s worth mentioning because it shows us that a future with creations indistinguishable from human-made productions isn’t that far off.

And because I am feeling curious about it, let’s settle this with a poll - what’s your prediction on AI-generated films?

How long do you think it will take for AI-generated content to become widely accepted as normal and indistinguishable from human-made work?

Have a really nice end of the week and weekend, and I’ll see y’all pretty soon!

Stay kind.
