A quick word first.

I am excited to communicate that from now on, this newsletter is going to be centered on AI film and the arts in general.

My approach for this newsletter was to give you a holistic view of how AI is affecting the world (geopolitics, economic, social and cultural change, technological and scientific innovations, philosophy, ethics, and entertainment) through news, information, and some thoughts. Yes, my interests are pretty broad!

But this strategy hasn’t reached or helped a lot of people, so it’s time for a change.

AI and the arts

Surprisingly, the first industries and careers that are being shocked by AI are professions related to intellectual and creative basis.

My career speciality has always been related to the arts. For the past 15 years, I have been studying and working in cinema as a director and editor. It makes sense for me to focus on an industry that I know, and that will be affected immediately.

Focus on this speciality and use my experience will allow me to give more value and help artists that feel threatened by AI taking their jobs and how the future will change our lives in general.

So, in the upcoming weeks, you will notice a shift of focus towards the innovations and new tools related to image and video generation that, in 2025, are going to experience crazy improvements at a fast pace.

A new time for artists is coming. As creators, we are not limited by the economic, human, and creative barriers anymore to bring to life our dream projects.
